Suzanne Currie Perry, 73, of Orange, passed away on September 27, 2020 at home.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, at Autumn Oaks Cemetery, in Orange. Officiating will be Lloyd Thurman.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on September 24, 1947, she was the daughter of Dewey Williams and Ruth (Tyler) Williams. Suzanne worked as a respiratory tech for Orange Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a faithful member of Community Church for the last 8 years and was outgoing and never met a stranger. She was the biggest animal lover and adored cats most of all. Suzanne loved her family dearly and was “Mawmaw” to her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. She left an imprint on many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Paul Currie; and parents, Dewey and Ruth Williams.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Perry; children, Shana Campbell and husband Keith of Lumberton, Billy Currie and wife Kerri of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Eli Perry of Orange, Ben Perry and wife Maureen of Orangefield, Daniel Perry and wife Keli of Orange; grandchildren, Ashley Green and husband David, Colton Bach and companion Brittany Meyne, Tara Currie, Jolie Currie, Sonny Currie, Kale Perry, Katelyn Perry, and Kayden Perry; great grandchildren, Harli Bach, Brooklyn Stokey, Braylon Stokey, Allison Green, Kasen Bach, Paisley Green, Aadalia Jones; sister, Belinda Potter and husband Allen of Orange; and nieces, Brandy Gilchrist and husband Eric, and Amanda Gerrald and husband Brandon.
Serving as pallbearers Ben Perry, Keith Campbell, David Green, Colton Bach, Travis Bach, and Taylor Stokey.
