Sylvia Ann Risinger, 58, of Orange, passed away on January 31, 2022, in Port Arthur.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 4, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Edward Rawls. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on July 27, 1963, she was the daughter of Manuel and Juanita Salas. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved shopping. Sylvia enjoyed her plants and always had music playing. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Sylvia will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Juanita Salas; her son, Tyler James Risinger; and her brother John “Little Man” Salas.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Risinger of Mauriceville; her children, Nicole Lind and Richie of Vidor, and Cory Risinger of Mauriceville; her grandchildren, Dylan and Kennedy Lind, and Jaylon Risinger; and her siblings, Manuel “Buster” Salas and wife Sandra, Susan Daniels and husband Kevin, Clemencia “Kitty” Price and husband Michael; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cory Risinger, Willie Franck, Michael Price, Dylan Lind, Duane Daniels, and Kevin Daniels. Honorary pallbearers are Richie Lind and Jaylon Risinger.

I am going to miss you soooo much Mrs. Sylvia!! I basically grew up in your house and have so many funny amazing memories with you I loved coming to your house it smelt so good candles were always burning your beautiful plants were everywhere you were always dressed to the 10! Hair and makeup done always looking beautiful! Even when me and Nico got into trouble (which wasn’t often) you always were there for us! I appreciate everything you did for us and I will cherish every moment I had with you. I love you and am I’m going to miss you! I hope to see again! Sylvia was the best big sister a girl could ever have!! She was my role model and everything I ever wanted to be. I wanted to be like her so bad. Always pretty and always smelled good. You could smell her from a mile away!! You will be missed my beautiful sister!! We have sooo many memories together that I will forever cherish! You were my rock sister!! I have a void in my heart that will NEVER be filled. My heart is broken!! I love you sister and I will see you again someday!!:heart::heart:
