Tami Lorae Rawls 

Tami Lorae Rawls, 51, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 23, 2024, peacefully at her home. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 29, 2024, at Bridge Point Fellowship in Bridge City. Officiating will be Pastor Lance Faulkner. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2024, at Ebenezer Cemetery in Jasper.

Visitation will begin prior to the service at 9:00 a.m., Friday, November 29, 2024, at Bridge Point Fellowship in Bridge City.

Born in Lufkin, Texas, on December 31, 1972, she was the daughter of James Silva and Beverly Silva (Ridgaway). Tami dedicated many years of her career to Apple Tree Daycare and Kidz World, where she loved all the children and made a lasting impact in their lives. She was known for her warm and welcoming nature. Her home was always open, and she had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel like family; she never met a stranger. She genuinely enjoyed playing bingo and cherished spending quality time with her family and friends. Tami was a member of Bridge Point Fellowship, which brought her joy and a sense of community. Growing up, Tami had a competitive spirit, particularly in sports. She enjoyed playing softball and took pride in her ability to excel, as she did not like to lose. Tami touched many lives throughout her journey, and her presence will be deeply missed. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, and mother and her loving spirit and dedication to her family and community remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Brian Rawls; and mother-in-law, Maxine Rawls.

She is survived by her parents, James and Beverly Silva; daughter, Harleigh Rawls and fiancé Lucas Moore; son, Garrett Rawls; brother, Damon Silva and wife Lori; niece and nephew, Mallory and Mason Silva; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Sandy Rawls; sister-in-law, Janet Rawls; nieces and nephews, Cruz, Celine, Seve, and Zion Cazares; and other loving family and friends.  

Serving as pallbearers will be Garrett Rawls, Damon Silva, Mason Silva, Mike Silva, Jerome Silva, and Damon Tedford.
