Ted Miller

Ted D. Miller, 66, of Orange, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at The Meadows in Orange.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2007, at Little Cypress Baptist Church. Officiating will be Reverend David Turner of Little Cypress Baptist Church. An additional visitation in Florien, LA at Antioch Baptist Church will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. and a graveside service, officiated by Steve Bean, will follow immediately at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m., Sunday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Mr. Miller was born December 4, 1940 in Shreveport, LA. He was the son of Pascal and Mavis Miller. He worked at the Orange Police Department from 1963 to 1965 and at DuPont as a Chief of Security. He was also a member of Little Cypress Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ted is survived by his wife, Betty Miller; daughters and son-in-law, Christie Bean and Steve of Hampton, GA and Diana Welch of Mauriceville; grandchildren, Brice and Kathleen Bean of Hampton, GA and Christopher and Christen Welch of Mauriceville; and sisters, Brinda Bass of Florien, LA and Carolyn Cook of Many, LA.
Serving as pallbearers are Terryl Peveto, Bobby Sorge, Steven Tarver, Brice Bean, Ronnie Lovelace, John Davis, Steve Carroll, Henry Lee Davis, and Willis Funderburk.
Honorary pallbearers are Jerald Peveto, Wayne Chance, Dale Miller, Donald Tarver, Reo Wright, Sherman Salter, and Cenny Salter.
Memorial contributions may be made to Room for God?s Children, Little Cypress Baptist Church.
