Terry Vaughn, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026, in Vidor, Texas, at the age of 76. He was born on September 2, 1949, in Beaumont, Texas.

A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas.

Terry found joy in the simple pleasures of life and the beauty of the outdoors. He had a deep passion for hunting, fishing, gardening, and bee keeping. A true enthusiast, he also cherished classic cars and spent countless hours enjoying the fresh air. Terry dedicated his professional life as a skilled welder for Pipefitter Local 195. Above all, Terry loved his family very deeply, and his devotion to them was evident in every aspect of his life. Terry's warm spirit and loving presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Ben D. Vaughn and Odeal Vaughn, and his brother, Ben D. Vaughn, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Vaughn; his sons, David Vaughn and his wife Denise, and Phillip Vaughn and his wife Amy. Terry was a proud grandfather to Daegan Vaughn, Daxton Vaughn, Jaxon Vaughn, and Emma Vaughn. He also leaves behind numerous other loving family and friends who will cherish his memory.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
