Theresa Guillotte, 93, of Orange, passed away on September 21, 2022, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a rosary starting at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on November 13, 1928, she was the daughter of Oscar Guillotte and Blanche (Daigle) Guillotte. Theresa went to St. Mary Catholic School as a young girl and later moved to and graduated from high school in Orange. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church and participated in the Altar Society, Legion of Mary, Catholic Daughters, and was also a member of their wonderful choir. Theresa enjoyed traveling and going to the casino with her sisters in her spare time. Together they have been to every state in the United States except for Alaska. Theresa will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Blanche Guillotte; siblings, Daisy Guillotte, Inez Ewing, May Dugas, Chester Guillotte, Eugene Guillotte; niece, Gertier Ewing; and nephew, Robert Ewing, Jr.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Bobbie Linscomb and husband Ray, Susan Hantz and husband Glenn, Debbie Lambert and husband Bruce, Joyzell Dugas, Jeannie, Breaux and husband Kenny, Greg Guillotte and wife Tanya, Mike Guillotte, and Kim Byerly; sister, Pearl Guillotte; and sister-in-law, Patty Guillotte.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary Catholic School Foundation at 2600 Bob Hall Rd. Orange, Texas, 77630 or to South East Texas Hospice at P.O. Box 2385 Orange, Texas 77631.
The family would like to send a special thanks to South East Texas Hospice, Dr. Mike Amsden, as well as the nurses and staff who helped care for Ms. Guillotte. Also, to Bonnie, Marie, Susan, Rhonda, and April for all the loving care and attention that they have provided to her and the family during this time.

To the Guillotte family, Daisey, Pearle & Theresa were always a strong presence in mine & my siblings childhood as we grew up. They were always together & showed up for anything my Mother invited them to come to. We loved them all & I know Theresa will be missed but rejoicing joining her parents and other siblings. Our prayers will remain with Pearle. Love to all!!!
