Thomas Vernon Williams, Jr.
Tommy Williams, 56, of Orange, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2022, surrounded by family.

Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday January 11, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in
Orange.

Visitation will be prior to the service at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday January 11, 2023.

Born in Buna, Texas, on November 22, 1966, he was the son of Vernon and Faye Williams. Tommy worked at Zachry in Cameron, Louisiana. He was a beloved friend to many. Tommy was an avid fisherman and was an amazing cook. He loved all the sports, especially the Texas Longhorns football team. Tommy was a member of the Orange Boat Club and won the DOW chili cook-off in 2019. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice Care Team in Beaumont for all the great care given to Tommy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Faye Williams; and grandparents.

He is survived by his loving wife Liz Williams; children, Cody Williams and wife Brooke of Bridge City, Shelby Lindsey and husband Travis of San Antonio, Jordan Briley and wife Carsen of Bridge City, and Lindsey of Orange; grandchildren, Gavin and Sadie Williams of Bridge City, Vivian and Rylan Briley of Bridge City; aunts and uncles, Susan and Gary Holmes, Jean Seaman; mother and father in law, Mary and Ray Bagley; and as well as numerous cousins and various other family members.
