Thomas Rainge “T.R.” Woods
Mr. Thomas Rainge “T. R.” Woods, 88, of Hodge, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Northern Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston. Mr. Woods was born on February 4, 1928, in Ansley, Louisiana the son of Joseph Freeman Woods and Vera Belle Woods. He was a member of Ansley Union Church. He resided in Bridge City, Texas from 1952 until 2004 when he moved to Hodge. He worked as a pipefitter and manager in the oil industry.
He is survived by his children, Susie McNeel of Port Arthur, TX, Danny Woods and wife Dianne of Howell, MI; daughter-in-law, Vicki Woods of League City, TX; grandchildren, Mack McAfee of California, Rachel Juneau and husband Amadee of Nederland, TX, Jennifer Woods of League City, TX, Amanda Woods of League City, TX, Daniel Woods of Howell, MI, Katie Rajnay of Howell, MI; great-grandchild, Mason Juneau of Nederland, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Virginia Love Boulware Woods and Barbara Ann Willett Woods; son, Norman R. Woods; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
A visitation will be Tuesday, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Ansley Union Church in Ansley, Louisiana or Liberty Baptist Church in Bridge City, Texas.

How I miss this sweet man! He used to tell me I was the first friend he made when he moved back to Hodge. But TR knew how to make friends. He worked at it and invited me to his home many times. We shared stories, quirky games, silly songs and many meals. When he couldn't think of the words to some old tune, I would find it for him on Utube, or better yet, he would make up some words! What fun. I often recall how he would thank his precious Jesus for the food and his visitor. Although I miss him tremendously, I know he is living with our precious Savior where there is no more pain. Hold on to the good memories. Sharon Wyatt
