Obituary
Trisha-Lee “Sharp” Dollery, 74, of Mauriceville, passed away on April 10, 2021, in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 16, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend David Millner. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Kodiak, Alaska, on February 10, 1947, she was the daughter of John William Melton, Sr. and Shirley-Jean Ellis Melton. Trisha enjoyed spending time at flea markets. She was artistic beyond compare and had the best sense of humor. She enjoyed singing, dancing, playing music and drawing. Trisha was an avid animal lover, often feeding the cats and raccoons of her neighborhood from her back door. She was a huge Dolly Parton fan. Trisha will be deeply missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Shirley-Jean Melton; and children, Patricia and James.
She is survived by her loving husband, Vernon Dollery; children, Robert W. Pruitt and wife Rhonda of Mauriceville, Anthony D. Pruitt and wife Dianna of Mexia, Buffie M. Scott and husband Danny of Tarkington, Darla M. Adams of Deer Park, Rhonda G. Pruitt of Cleveland, Felicia M. Dollery and spouse J.R. Nesloney of Victoria, and Jonathan M. Dollery and spouse Michelle Williams of Webster; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; aunt, Barbara Jean of Hickory, North Carolina; sister, Cherie Melton; brother, Danny Melton; and sister in laws, Wanda Trumble, Pat Morgan, Peggy Sharp, and Faye Waller.
