Funeral services for Ulsford J. Daigle, 89 of Beaumont will be held Friday, October 24, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a Vigil service at 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Daigle was born November 27, 1918 in Port Arthur, Texas and passed away October 19, 2008 in Harbor Hospital in Orange. A resident of Beaumont since 1953, he was a retired manager with Texas State Optical and a US Army Air Corps veteran of WWII.
A member of the Catholic Church, he was active in the Help group of Woodland Baptist Church and played the harmonica in the church's harmonica group.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie "Bobbie" Daigle of Silsbee; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery and Kay Daigle of Beaumont and Mark and Myrna Daigle of Pearland; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Jimmy Bobbitt of Vidor; four grandchildren, Nicole Giglio, Heather Bobbitt, Jarrod Daigle and Marissa Daigle; and two brothers, Willie Ray Daigle and Francis James Daigle.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Daigle; sister, Sister Angela Daigle;
and brother, Roderick Daigle.
