Una J. Simon, 75, of Bridge City, died Sunday, September 30, 2007, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City with burial following at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Reverend David Berkheimer will officiate.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Una was born October 16, 1931, in Wright, LA and had been a resident of Bridge City for 59 years. She spent her life as a wonderful wife and loving mother. She will be remembered for her kindness and her love to all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John U. Simon on September 13, 2007.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Tammie Simon of Dover, DE, Lonnie Simon of Bridge City; grandchildren, Josh Simon, Mike Simon and Angel Simon and great grandchildren, Brady and Samantha Simon. She is also survived by her brothers, Eddie Richard and Vernon Richard and sisters, Lilly Suire and Lorriane Clotieaux.
Serving as pallbearers will be Glen Jeter, Lonnie Simon, Michael Simon, Harry Stevens, Bobby Bonnin and Jimmy Fields.
