Velma Ruth LeBlanc, 77, died November 4, 2008 at Renaissance Hospital in Groves.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Friday, November 7, 2008 at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the funeral home.
Velma was born November 24, 1930 in Peason, LA to Jack and Elizabeth Hillman Bean. She was a homemaker and a former resident of Port Arthur and had lived in Bridge City for over 50 years.
Velma is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe LeBlanc, son, Ricky LeBlanc, and brother, Curtis Bean.
She is survived by her children, Curtis LeBlanc and wife, Carolyn, Pam Boudreaux and husband, George, and P. J. LeBlanc, all of Bridge City; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Carlock and Claudette Fairchild, and brother, Claude Gosnell.
Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Boudreaux, Tee-Joe LeBlanc, P. J. LeBlanc, Michael Braxton, Chris Thomas, and Tim Trapp.
