Obituary
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Toney Miller of First United Methodist Church in Nederland. Burial will follow at King Cemetery in Hartburg, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday June 20, 2014 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Owlet Green, Texas, on August 2, 1937, she was the daughter of Orbie Welch and Avie Elaine (Richardson) Welch. Virginia worked at Riverside Supermarket, Big B Donuts, The Fairstore, Danny’s Foodcenter, and Walmart. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Jinkie is preceded in death by her sister, Mattie Mae Williams; brother, Charles Ray Welch; daughter-in-law Tammy Risinger; grandson, Ryan Paul Risinger; and granddaughter, Constance Eileen Chisum.
She is survived by her children, Rory Risinger Sr. and wife, Lana of Patroon, Texas, Ramona Chisum and husband, Paul of Little Cypress, Texas, and Rebecca Green of Huntsville, Texas; grandchildren Rachelle Risinger, Rory “Bubba” Risinger, Jr. and wife, JoAnn, Sarah Chisum, Keith Chisum and wife, Courtney, Stephen Green, Joshua Green, Logan Holbrook, and Lindsey Holbrook; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Alexis, and Gabriel Chisum Wesley and Shelby Jellison, and Sylvia Risinger; brother, Walter Welch and wife, Heidi; sister, Jeanie Moore and husband, Bill.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rory Risinger Sr., Rory Risinger Jr., Paul Chisum, Stephen Green, Keith Chisum, and Logan Holbrook. Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Green, Wesley Jellison, and Gabriel Chisum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association: 700 North Street, Suite M Beaumont, TX 77701.
