Virginia Vilo Prince Brumley, 87, of Orange passed away at her home Sunday, June 10, 2012.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Ed Rawls officiating. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Mrs. Brumley was born July 8, 1924, in Lake Charles to Felix and Adele Pickard Vilo. She owned and operated The Prince and Princess Shop on 6th Street in Orange. She was a born again Christian and often attended church at The Meadows.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Dubart Miller Prince and is survived by her children, Camille and Joe Schoolcraft of Houston and Jan and Larry Jacobs of Orange. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dustin Bock, Bryan and Julie Bock, Aleisha Wolf, Ben Jacobs, Brad Jacobs and Adam Jacobs; seven great grandchildren and brothers, Bill, Stanley and Robert Vilo.
