W.B. “Bill” Yarbrough was born on January 4, 1931 in Mississippi to Redmon Y. and Lola (McLain) Yarbrough. He passed away on October 13, 2015 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Bill was strong in his faith and beliefs and was not afraid to minister to anyone who would listen. He loved discussing politics, the stock market and the world in general. He raised goats for many years and enjoyed planting a vegetable garden. He was a good husband, father and provider for his family. He will be sorely missed by those who were blessed to know him.
He is survived by his daughters, Connie Beaumont and husband, Jim of Pearland, Mary Ann Jones of Virginia, and Mary Frances Wilson and husband, Dan of Vidor; sister, Maxine Cooper Laird; sister-in-law, Dorothy Yarbrough; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary; daughter, F. Darlene Sutton; grandson, Will Wilson; brothers, Gaston Yarbrough and Russell Yarbrough; and son-in-law, Ramon Jones, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Claybar Funeral Home in Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Claybar Funeral Home in Beaumont. Interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Vidor, Texas.
