Wauline "Gammie Cat" Floyd, 86, of Bridge City, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Magnolia Manor in Groves.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral in Bridge City.
Born in Orangefield, Texas on August 27, 1923, Wauline was the daughter of Lee Henry Bird and Jessie Mae Davis Bird.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack D. Floyd; and two brothers, Johnny Bird and Douglas Earl Bird.
Wauline is survived by her son, Charles Floyd, Sr. and his wife, Jo Ella of Bridge City and daughter, Linda Bishop and her husband, Mike of Bridge City.
Also surviving are her three grandchildren, Charles Floyd, Jr., Brandi Bishop Robins and Melissa Floyd Brisbane; eight great-grandchildren, three brothers, Leo Bird, Elmo Bird and Gerald Bird; and sister, Bernadine Bradley.
