Wesley Allen Seale

Wesley Allen Seale, 61, of West Orange passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010 in Beaumont.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Kevin Brown. Interment will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 4-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Seale was born August 25, 1949 in Orange to former West Orange Mayor, Glenn F. Seale and wife, Kathryn Hopkins Seale. He graduated from West Orange High School in 1967 and then attended Panola College in Carthage. Wes was a member of the 8 shift at DuPont in the Ethylene Unit where he retired after 36 years of service. Everyone who knew Wes loved him; he had a great sense of humor and was known to pull a practical joke every now and then.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother,
Douglas Seale.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Jason A. Seale of Round Rock; brother, Danny Glenn Seale of West Orange; sister, Joyce Miller and husband, Bill of Orange; nieces, Emily Harrell and Maddie Miller both of Houston; uncle, Loyd Hopkins and wife Sue of Mauriceville and numerous cousins and friends.

Wes will always be remembered and loved by anyone who ever had the privilege to meet and know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Wesley's name to a favorite charity of your choice.
The family would like to express its' sincere thanks and gratitude to the medical staff and personnel at Christus DuBuis and St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bo Henley, Pete Matthews, Larry "Dubby" Spears, Danny Odom, Cornell Thompson, Richard "Pup" Palmer and Ray Blanchard.
