Wilfred Leleux

Wilfred Leleux, 79, of Bridge City, died Sunday, January 23, 2011, at his residence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2011, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, also at the funeral home.

Born in Kaplan, Louisiana on June 12, 1931, Wilfred was the son of Wallace and Amileda Meaux Leleux.

He retired in 1993 from Teamster's Local 920. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church for 57 years and the Knights of Columbus where he had served as Grand Knight.

Wilfred was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Bourque Leleux. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Winfred J. and Betty Leleux of Orange, Dexter and Debbie Leleux of Lumberton, Michael and Amy Leleux of Bridge City

Also surviving are his grandchildren, Chris Leleux, Thomas Leleux, Donald Leleux, Walley Leleux, Josh Leleux, Misty Flannery, Cheri Leleux and Hannah Mae Leleux; great grandchildren, Amber Leleux, Caliegh Leleux, Thomas Leleux, Ethan Leleux, Andrew Magana and John Poydence; brother, Ray Leleux of Orange and sister, Viola Watson, of Bridge City.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Leleux, Walley Leleux, Donald Leleux, Thomas Leleux, Josh Leleux and Donald Flannery.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Wilfred's care giver, Cindy Brandon and to Southeast Texas Hospice for the care they provided.
