Aunt Joyce and family, I am sorry to hear of Uncle Bill's passing. I know this is a tremendous loss to you all. Growing up, I always thought of Uncle Bill and Aunt Joyce as my "real" uncle and aunt - did not understand until I got older that Uncle Bill had just been my dad's best friends - close enough to be brothers and far enough apart to be closer than brothers..... I have many fond memories of my childhood and visiting with your family. I am still so appreciative of all the love and support given to my dad and our family - both during his illness and even at the funeral. Love to you all. I hope that soon you can smile with the many happy memories that I know you have. Love, Cindy (Russell) Henley

You can shed tears that he is gone or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all he's left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he's gone or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what he'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on. Joe & Nina Maddox Orange, TX

Dear family, may these promises from the Bible bring you comfort in this time of sorrow. Jehovah God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are discouraged. And he will wipe away the tears from all faces. Psalm 34:18; Isaiah 25:8 NWT. Peace be with you.
