Memorial services for William "Bill" White, 71, of Orange, TX and formerly of Beaumont, TX, will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008, in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive guests that morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Pastor Ruby Nelson of St. Paul's United Methodist Church will officiate.
Mr. White was born September 18, 1936 to William and Margaret White in Springfield, MO and passed away on April 23, 2008 at his residence. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a former operations manager at Goodyear Tire and Rubber, and a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Bill was a jack-of-all-trades, and will be remembered by many for his charity work for Boy's Haven and his love of golf and crawfish boils. Mr. White's family will remember him as an excellent husband, marvelous father and awesome grandfather.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 48 years, Myrna; daughter, DeAnna White and husband Michael Pohlit of Vidor; and daughter Cristin Michael and husband Cody of Orange; grandchildren, Angela and Aaron Pohlit and Kent, Kyle, and Colton Michael.
