William Maxwell "Bill" Hooker, 38, son of James E. and Nancy Hooker, died at his home in Mauriceville, on Saturday, June 7, 2008.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday June 10, 2008 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Sid Thorne of First Church of God in Orange.
Interment will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2008 at the funeral home.
Bill attended Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX. His job as an independent quality consultant allowed him to travel to Germany, The Netherlands, Dubai, Canada, Mexico, Belize, Iraq and other foreign countries.
He was an avid fisherman and loved to fish, hunt, go to the lake, the beach and anything outdoors. Above all else, he loved his daughters; they were the light of his life.
Bill is survived by his beloved daughters, Camryn and Lauryn Hooker of Cypress, TX. His mother and father, his brother, James "Will" Hooker and wife Debbie of Orange; sisters, Liz Langston, Robin Lane and husband, Bob, and Cheryl Brown and husband Steve and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Langston, Jr., Shea Simon, Alex Gordon, Donavon Gordon, Thad Gordon, Brook McClain and Ricky Jones.
