Willie Broussard

Willie Broussard, 88, died November 27, 2008 in Orange .
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 1, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Reverend Joseph P. Daleo as officiant. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens .
Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall at Claybar Funeral Home's temporary site, 1408 Park Ave. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM.
Willie was born October 18, 1920 in Louisiana, to Jim and Octavia Hebert Broussard. Willie served in the U. S. Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater and was active in the VFW. He worked as a service man for DuPont for 35 years. Willie was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Willie is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Broussard and four brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children, Larry Moss of Orange, Marshall Moss of Alaska, Carol Cappen and Alan Broussard, both of Orange, Donna Pitts and husband, Thomas of Mauriceville; daughter-in-law, Cecile Moss of Orange; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Isabell Brouliea and brother, Irving Broussard.
Serving as pallbearers will be Troy Richardson, Jason Pitts, Jeremy Pitts, J. R. Patillo, Wendell Broussard, and Owen McPayne. Honorary pallbearer will be Spencer Fuss.
