Willie "Bill" Sartin, 90, of Bridge City, died Thursday, December 20, 2007, at The Meadows in Orange.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23rd, at the United Pentecostal Church in Bridge City, with the Reverend J.W. Harrell, pastor, officiating.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 24th, at Leesville Cemetery in Leesville, Louisiana, under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday, December 22nd, at the funeral home.
Born in Vernon Parish, Louisiana, on September 9, 1917, Mr. Sartin was the son of Luther and Everett Moore Sartin.
He retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad where he was an engineer and he was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Bridge City.
Mr. Sartin is survived by his wife, Jessie Lea Sartin of Bridge City; brother, Douglas Sartin of Kountze; sister, Everretta Battrell of Bridge City; niece, Shirley Gilley of Bridge City and a host of other nieces and nephews.
