Wilma Ida St. Germain

August 14, 1912 — January 10, 2014

I thank you for the love each of you have shown. I’ve gone to the place my Lord has prepared for me. I left my earthly home and entered into my heavenly rest on January 10, 2014.

Wilma St. Germain of Bridge City, Texas, died peacefully after a blessed 101 years. Wilma was cared for lovingly by her family, church family, and many friends she made along her way. Patricia Brown was like a daughter to her. Patricia’s unwavering devotion, love, care, and concern were among life’s richest blessings.

Wilma was also lovingly cared for by Eddie Hollis and Douglas Venable. Your kindness and faithful support meant more than you will ever know.

The pastors and friends of Victory Temple were so faithful to visit Wilma in the years that she could no longer attend church. The love of Christ was evident in all that they did.

Wilma was born in Opelousa, LA on August 14, 1912 she was the daughter of James W. and Martha (Milner) Brown. Wilma was a longtime faithful member of Victory Temple Assembly of God in Beaumont. Wilma and her husband Walter were members of the LouTex Holiday Rambler Traveling Club. Wilma was a full time homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Wilma’s love for her savior, family, and friends were evident in how she spent her life. Wilma loved to entertain family and friends in her home. Going to church, gardening, and traveling were some of her favorite activities.

Wilma is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Walter St. Germain; second husband, Kinnard Hollis; daughter, Barbara Gresham; sisters, Icie Jackson and Artie Guillory; brothers, Paul Brown and Enoch Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory are her many blessed family and friends.
