I grew up in the same church as Wynn in my high school and college years. Wynn’s parents , Ronnie and Patsy, would cut out my high school athletic honors when it would make the paper. Ronnie was a reference on my first public service job application. It was through this that I got to know Wynn. I knew him to be an outstanding individual. He took me ATV riding one time when I first got to college. Although he was much older than I was, I had an extreme amount of respect for him. What I respected about him the most was that he had a strong love and loyalty for his parents. Something that he and I had in common as I loved mine more than anything. I knew his first wife, Suze, from when we went to high school together. I was very happy when they got married because I knew they were both good people. My heart goes out to his son, Colton, as well as the rest of his family. Like Colton, my dad passed away a young man at 54 as well. Heaven got another great soul with Wynn. He left behind a great legacy. Wynn will be missed.
