Yvonne Bornette, 78, of Orange, passed away on January, 13, 2017, in Orange.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Gary Wheeler of First United Pentecostal Church in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will precede the service starting at 1:00 PM.
Born in Orange, Texas, on September 3, 1938, she was the daughter of Willie Parker Tarver and Bertha Mae (Franklin) Tarver. Yvonne was a member of First United Pentecostal Church. She was a very talented woman. She was a seamstress, loved cooking, and crafting. Yvonne also loved to fish. She once lived on a houseboat with her husband where they fished regularly. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and Yvonne’s caregivers- Cynthia, Kathy, and Bonnie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, O’Neil Bornette; children, Boyd Taylor, Angie Strong, and Steven Taylor; brother, Bob Tarver; and sister, Betty Curl.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Karen Taylor; nephew, Steve Taylor and wife, Jo; step-children, Randy Bornette, Dana Johnson, and Donna Bunker; sister, Wanda Wilson; and many other family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Bornette, Justin Bornette, Steve Taylor, Brian Johnson, Ronnie Bornette, and Casey Bunker.
