Yvonne Marze Huff Dyson, 82, of Orange, passed away on September 28, 2021, in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 3, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Lufkin, Texas, on August 25, 1939, she was the daughter of C.V. Marze and Savelia (Franklin) Marze. Yvonne worked as a teacher’s aide for West Orange Cove School District where she later retired after years of hard work. She enjoyed crocheting, working on word circle books, going to the casino, and most of all spending time with her beloved family. Yvonne was the epitome of a wonderful mother and “Meme” to her granddaughter, Haleigh and great grandbaby, Benjamin. She left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.V. and Savelia Marze; son, Randall Eugene Huff; and siblings, Maxine Drook, Billy Ray Marze, Gwen Whitefield, Clifton Marze, and Douglas Marze.
She is survived by her children, Carol Daniels and husband Ricky and Floyd Huff all of Bridge City; grandchildren, Haleigh Choate and husband Colton of Mauriceville; and great grandchild, Benjamin James Choate.
