A graveside service for Arlie Gates Floyd Kirk, 93, of Silsbee (formerly of Beaumont) will be held Friday, May 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Weldon Cemetery in Weldon, Texas. Mrs. Kirk was born Dec. 12, 1921 in Creek, Texas to the late J.G. and Emma Carroll Gates and passed away May 26, 2015 in Silsbee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Kirk; sister, Ruby Gates Thompson; brother, Ralph V. Gates and aunt, Nancy Caroll.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth Gates Nickells; 3 nephews, Dr. Ralph V. Thompson, Nick Gates and Charlie Nickels and her step-daughter, Dr. Edythe Kirk.
