Erma-Jean Guilbeaux, 65, of Silsbee, Texas, passed away on August 28, 2022, in, Silsbee.

Erma-Jean was born in Webster, Texas, on August 30, 1956. She was a fun and outgoing person who absolutely loved life. She loved spending time going on long walks and watching old westerns. Erma-Jean had the talent of training any animal she could find to be a pet, dogs and birds being her favorite. She was unconditionally loving and had a huge heart. She always seemed to be happy and smiling, especially when spending time with those she loved. Erma-Jean was truly loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Norman Boettcher, and Vernon Butler; her husband, Carroll Guilbeaux; and her brothers, Freddie Butler and James-Edward Butler.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Emery Boettcher and wife Kelli; brother, Ronald Butler and wife Peggy; sisters-in-law, Judy Rivers and Donna Smyphia, nieces and nephews Lisa Butler, Ronald Butler, and Robert Butler; grandchildren, Alexis Boettcher, Meagan Sweeney, Heather Yoder, Dustin Boettcher, Tyler McNaughton, and Norman Boettcher; and 7 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving friends and family.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home
