Frances Ann Warren Henley

Frances Ann Warren Henley was born on January 2, 1939 in Center, Texas to Annie Mae and Paul Revere Warren. They lived in Beaumont Texas at the time of Frances' birth and moved to Orange as a young child. She took ballet, tap, and jazz dance from Mary Alice Callahan for many years. She graduated from Lutcher Stark High School in 1957 where she met her husband, Duane Henley. Duane and Frances had four children, Duane Jr., Paul, Jeff, and Laura.

Frances graduated from Lamar University with a B.S in Medical Technology and later with a Masters Degree in Microbiology from McNeese State University. The research done for her M.S. led to a publication in a national scientific Journal of Clinical Microbiology. She worked at Orange Memorial Hospital, Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Women's and Children's Hospital in Beaumont and finally at DuPont.

After retiring from DuPont Frances spent much of her time volunteering in the community through Orange Service League, Orange Christian Services, and the Catholic Church. She was a Eucharistic Minister and President of the Altar Society at St. Mary's Catholic Church. As owner and founder of M.D. Warren Land and Timber Company she was a member of Texas Forestry Association from which she was awarded for her land management practices. Frances enjoyed many activities including, bridge, reading, sailing, tennis, scuba diving, travel, and spending time with the Creole Krewe, the YaYas and her grandchildren.

Frances is survived by her Father, Paul Revere Warren, husband, Duane Henley Sr., children and grandchildren, child, Duane Jr. of Dallas, Tx. his children Trevor, Georgia, and Lily, child, Paul of Orange, Tx. his family, Glenetta wife, children Alana, Taylor, Cory and Shelby, child, Jeff Sr. of Austin, Tx. his family, Marla wife, children Erin and Jeffrey Jr., and child, Laura of Pacifica, Ca. her family, Peter Quigley husband, children Pierce and Abigail Quigley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange, with Reverend Joseph P. Daleo, pastor, serving as Officiant. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Hallsville Cemetery in Hallsville, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Monday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Duane Henley, Jr., Paul Henley, Jeff Henley, Sr., Jeff Henley, Jr., Cory Collier, and Peter Quigley.
