Funeral services for Frank P. Dickerson, 87, of Beaumont, will be held, Saturday, July 31, 2010, 2:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with interment to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Dickerson was born February 13, 1923 in Kansas City, KS to William and Mary Dickerson and passed away July 29, 2010 in Beaumont, TX.
Mr. Dickerson served his country as an Army Air Corp mechanic during WWII. For 19 years, he was a car salesman with Leo Jarnigan, and he owned Dickerson's Drive-In in Beaumont. He attended South Park High School and Calvary Baptist Church. As a child, he was baptized at South Park Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory are daughter, Debra Lynn Carr; brother, Houston Dickerson; grandchildren, Michael Carr, Shilo Herrington, Sonia Smith and Luke Carr; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Christian, Conner, Tyler, Reagan, Seth, Olivia, Kale, Korbyn, and Kingston.
