He felt his call to ministry at the age of 9 and began his ministry at the age of 15. He was an evangelist for several years before becoming a pastor. He pastored in Mississippi, Texas, Illinois, Florida and Indiana. Dear to his heart were young men whom he mentored in ministry. He had a heart for missions and traveled as a conference speaker nation-wide and world-wide, taking him to several continents - including Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. He was proud to have been associated with and serve several ministerial associations and organizations throughout his lifetime. He was known for his humorous and simple style of speaking and he always believed everyone deserved a second chance. His message of Grace will live on in the many lives that were changed because of his ministry.
He loved his wife, children and grandchildren very much and leaves a legacy to them of a life of laughter and wonderful stories to remember and tell for generations to come.
