Harry Land., 66, of Bridge City, a devoted grandfather to Camden and Caleb DuBois, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 6, 2010, due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
The memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Winfree Baptist Church in Orange, with Reverend Keith Royal, pastor, officiating.
Born in Port Arthur on January 14, 1944, he was the son of Harrison Arledge Land, Sr. and Mary June Hulin Land and was a United States Air Force Veteran.
He was member of the American Legion and H.O.G., a Harley motorcycle club.
Harry's life was his two grandsons. When he wasn't with them at the ballpark, the deer lease, or fishing, he was on his Harley.
Harry was also a very successful Taxidermist in Southeast Texas who took great pride in his work.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harrison Arledge Land, Sr.; and daughter, Robyn Lynn Land.
Harry is survived by his mother, Mary June Land of Bridge City; daughter, Cristal Land DuBois and her husband, Beaver of Bridge City; and two grandsons, Camden DuBois and Caleb DuBois of Bridge City.
He is also survived by his brother, Rickey Land; sisters, Dorothy Truncale, Candy Lavine and Becky Land.
