Funeral services for Hugh Hardy Blalock, Jr. 80, of Tomball will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Interment will be in the Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Blalock was born October 23, 1936 in Quitman, Georgia and passed away on November 3, 2016 in Tomball. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of Faith Assembly Church. He retired as a chemist with Temple Inland and was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Virgina Blalock of Tomball; daughter, Teresa Blalock of Jasper; brothers, Thomas, James and Richard Blalock; sisters, Myrtle O’Neal and Sue Thouchton; 6 grandchildren, Athena, David, Anthony, Faith, Amy, and Thomas; and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Eula Blalock; and wife, Margaret Blalock and sister, Faye Blalock.
