Joan Elizabeth Brenizer
Joan E. Brenizer was born October 29, 1933 in Pt. Arthur, TX to Joe and Mildred Brenizer. She passed away on October 10, 2010 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Joan graduated from University of Texas Austin with a Master's Degree in Mathematics and was a professor in the Math Department at Lamar University, Beaumont for almost 40 years. She was a long-time resident of Beaumont and attended Calder Baptist Church. Joan was a generous, yet anonymous provider for many charitable causes in the area. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by cousins Ann Gage, Dorothy Pickett and Carol Schmidt. Also surviving her are her close friends, Dr. Vicki Price and Dr. Bill McKinley and his wife, Dorothy. A private interment service will take place at a later date.
