Linda "Granny" Davis, 68, of Vidor and former resident of Houston, passed away on May 14, 2009, at her residence.
A private service will be held at a later time and date. Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory.
Linda was born on April 6, 1941, in Weimar, Texas. She was the daughter of Boyce Holt and Ruth Brown Lockett. Linda was the owner of LD & Place in Houston where she retired as a bartender. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed watching and feeding bird and was a avid Dallas Cowboy fan who would always look forward to watching her Cowboys.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Cindy Wilburn of Vidor; ex-daughter-in-law, Janna Wilburn; and two grandchildren, Courtney Wilburn and Cody Wilburn.
