Loretta Pearl Tillman, 80, of Orange passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Vidor Health and Rehab.
Born in Vinton, Louisiana on April 7, 1932, Loretta was the daughter of Sydney and Hazel Mitchell Caruthers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman "Richard" Tillman; sister, Faye Hantz; and grandson, Ricco Maggio. Loretta is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Welch and William Bacon of Bridge City, Gwen and Andrew Romero of Cleveland, Texas and Janice and Samuel Maggio of Vinton, Louisiana; and son and daughter-in-law, Clement and Cathy Tillman of Orangefield.
Loretta is also survived by her grandchildren, Floyd "Lee" Martin and fiancé Lacy Dupuy, Trisha "Tova" Welch, Hazel Ruth Nelson, Jeremy Joseph James, Roy Thomas Bowden, Carlo Maggio, Kim Trahan Maggio, Rocky Tillman and Lisa Ferrigno and her husband, Scott; great-grandchildren, Keegan Martin, Vaydon Abrego, Marqus Abrego, Carly Nelson, Macy Bowden, Samantha Trahan, John Trahan, Honor Kate Maggio, Aidan Ferrigno and Zachary Ferrigno; and sisters and brothers, Audrey Richard, Sue Jeffers, Dwight Caruthers and wife, Dee Dee, Norman Caruthers, and Ruby Frazier and husband, Herchel.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
