Louisia Edna Thomason was born April 13, 1928 in Bon Ami, Louisiana to Edward Crow and Adella Armistead. She settled in Beaumont, Texas c. 1930 and was a proud Beaumont High Royal Purple graduate of the Class of 1945.
On September 12, 1948, she married Wallace Early Thomason—whom never left her side for more than a day since 1948 and always called her, “My beautiful wife.” Together, they shared two children, Wallace Ray Thomason and Liston Eugene Thomason, daughter-in-law’s Laurie Thomason and Cynthia Kreutzer, and seven grandchildren: Kristen, Eric and wife, Ashley, Leah, Nicole, Richie, and Anna.
She now goes to the company of angels—her mother, Adella Armistead; sister, Vivian Byerly; son, Liston Thomason; aunt, Beatrice Armistead; uncle, Millard Armistead…among so many others’ in whose mighty company, she will find peace, comfort, and know no pain. She was the most humble, caring, and dedicated wife, mother, and human to all those who knew her—and as she would say, “Live and let live.”
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont.
