It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a truly exceptional woman, Micki Carpenter, who dedicated her life to God, her family and friends, and the world of real estate. She departed this world on September 9, 2023, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by her loved ones and the countless individuals she helped throughout her career.
Micki was a revered member of Calder Baptist church. She served in the choir, where her voice resonated with a heavenly grace. Micki possessed a rare gift, effortlessly blending her voice with others to create harmonies that lifted the spirits of all who listened. Her dedication to Calder Baptist and the choir was steadfast and evidence of her deep faith and devotion to God.
Along with raising her four children, Micki possessed an unwavering passion for the real estate industry from a young age. Her innate ability to connect with people, coupled with her sharp business acumen, propelled her to great heights in her chosen field. She was a force to be reckoned with, a trailblazer who shattered glass ceilings and paved the way for future generations of women in real estate.
Throughout her illustrious career, Micki achieved numerous milestones and accolades. Her dedication to her clients was unparalleled, always going above and beyond to ensure their dreams of homeownership became a reality. Her expertise and knowledge of the market were unmatched, making her a trusted advisor to many. She had an innate ability to understand her clients' needs and find the perfect property to suit their desires.
Beyond her professional achievements, Micki was a compassionate and caring individual. She believed in giving back to her community and was actively involved in various charitable endeavors. Whether it was volunteering on hospital boards or giving endowments for those in need, she consistently demonstrated her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Micki will be remembered for her infectious smile, her unwavering determination, and her ability to inspire those around her. She was a mentor to many aspiring real estate professionals, always willing to share her knowledge and offer guidance. Her legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched and the indelible mark she left on the real estate industry.
Micki was lovingly met in Heaven by: her parents; her siblings; her children’s father, Adrian; the love of her life, Jim; and her golden years companion, Ronnie. She is survived by: her sister, Marjean Kitts; daughter, Tammi Shoefstall; daughter, Paige Shoefstall; daughter, Patti Shoefstall and wife, Janis Patella; son, Stewart Shoefstall and wife, Sherri Shoefstall; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with many loving family and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. Though her physical presence may be gone, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Humane Society of Southeast Texas to honor her love for animals as God calls her home.
As we bid farewell to Micki, let us remember her as an inspiration, a trailblazer, and a beacon of light in the industry she loved. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
