Wilma Lee Hilton Beall, 91, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on April 10, 2017. Wilma was born on April 11, 1925 in Elmina, Texas to parents Elijah Ambrose Hilton and Edna Florence Tiner Hilton.
She moved to Beaumont when she was 2 years old and lived there until her passing. She graduated from Beaumont High School and was an officer in the Royal Guards. She met her husband when she was 11 years old; they married in 1946 and were married 70 years.
Wilma was a godly woman and her faith never wavered. Her life, marriage and parenting were based on God’s word. She was a member of the Sabine Tabernacle. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always put her family first and was always ready to help others. Wilma was an avid reader, loved flower gardening, bird watching, traveling and playing games with her sons and grandsons.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Beall, Sr.; brothers, Raymond Hilton and Lonnie Hilton; stepsister, Odine Pool; and stepbrother Tommy Hilton.
She is survived by her husband, Marion Beall, Jr. of Beaumont; sons, Jerry Beall and wife, Donna and Buddy Beall and wife, Cindy all of Beaumont; grandsons, Mark Beall, Jr., Douglas Beall and wife, Jessica, Austin Beall, Eric Beall all of Beaumont and Adam Beall and wife, Tonya of Rusk, Texas; great-grandsons, Ian Beall and Evan Beall all of Beaumont and Alex Beall of Rusk, Texas; and stepsisters, Dorothy Stephens of Houston, Texas and Billie Tyson of Willis,
Texas.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the Sabine Tabernacle in Beaumont, Texas followed by interment at Forrest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas.
