Wilma Rose Barnes

Wilma Rose Barnes, 75, of Winnie, formerly of Hamshire passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Interment will follow at Fountain Cemetery in Starks, LA at 4:30 p.m.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barnes was born December 4, 1934 in Hamshire to Peter and Lois DeYoung Renkema. She was an LVN at Hamilton Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Malcum Barnes and father, Peter Renkema.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Lois Renkema; son, Robert Nita Paul; daughter, Rosetta Gary Brewer; and son, Donnie Bill Barnes. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; brothers, Buddy Artie Renkema, Fred Rita Renkema and Charles Diane Renkema; sister, Henrietta Fabriguze and many nieces and nephews.
